The Gala Opening takes place on Friday 20 September from 7pm and is a night filled will beautiful art, delicious food and beverages and wonderful company. For more information click here.

A Curator Chat will take place on Saturday 21 September from 6.30pm. Join curator Evan Hollis on a twilight tour through the exhibition and enjoy insights into both artworks and artists. Bookings are essential and for more information click here.

The Exhibition is open daily from 10am to 4pm,  Saturday 21 to Saturday 28 September 2019.

Our Feature Artist, yet to be announced, will be amazing us with their painting talents with two live painting demonstrations. For more information click here.

The College’s stunning gardens are open throughout the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers week of 21 to 28 September. Thanks go our head gardener, John Benjamin.

Be sure to see the sculpture garden when you visit, comprising of special pieces by the exhibiting artists.

Take a seat under the umbrellas at our on-site Art Cafe with cakes, scones and sandwiches available along with both hot and cold drinks.

The successful Downlands 225 will again be a special element of the Exhibition. This ‘lucky dip’ consists of an enormous range of 15cm square (225cm2) paintings priced at just $25 each, allowing everyone to take an artwork home. When the buyer collects their piece, only then do they discover the name of the painter, be it a professional artist, an emerging artist or a student artist – what great fun!
