Exhibiting artists and others are encouraged to support the Downlands 225 Project.
This was an exciting addition to our exhibition in 2014, giving more visitors the ‘buying buzz’, allowing many first-time art purchases, and contributing significantly to the financial success of the Exhibition.
We ask that you consider the opportunity to contribute by donating up to six artworks measuring 15 x 15cm. Please use this opportunity to create studies, or try new techniques or materials… don’t sign your name on the front (put it on the back – that way buyers are choosing artwork based on aesthetics alone and may be pleasantly surprised on purchase!
The Downlands Art Exhibition is a premier event on the Queensland Arts Calendar and the major annual fundraiser for Downlands College.
Blank panels are available from the College Admin counter, at no charge, on request from 10 June. Works submitted to this project are donations and are not subject to the terms of the Artist’s Contract.
