The Downlands Art Exhibition is regarded as one of the premier art events in Queensland regularly offering the choice of around 1000 pieces from hundreds of artists.
Celebrating 34 years in 2020, this years’ Exhibition would normally run for eight days as part of the official Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers program, but unfortunately has been cancelled due to the Cornavirus outbreak.
As well as the featured artist, the wonderfully talented bush artist – Kathy Ellem, exhibiting artists include a mix of international and local artists.
Gala Opening: Cancelled
The exhibition is revealed to 300 or more art lovers, and is often when the best art pieces are snapped up. It is a fabulous night of art, food and friends with numbers strictly limited.
- From 7pm till late on Friday 18 September
- Tickets are $60 each and includes finger food, entertainment and drinks
- They are available online from 1 August.
- Gala Opening tickets allow entry into the exhibition as many times as you wish over the eight day exhibition period with no extra charge.

The Graham Centre which is at the top of the curved driveway from the main entry, Downlands College, 72 Ruthven St, Toowoomba.
