Isaac River Country
Earthenware clay, Collected wild clay, wire, oxides and glazes
25 × 25 × 25 cm
On Hold Till September 18
This hand=sculptured vessel is formed from local earthenware clay and wild clay gathered at the Isaac Riverbank near Blackwater. Deep cobalt blue echoes water, while fired cracks trace the language of earth and heat from ancient traditions. Markings evoke a quiet connection to the long presence of people from this river country.
