Inspired by a tiny plant that only appears in the garden in winter, this abstract piece was based on the notion of the changing of seasons, the cycle of life. In contrast to the hard landscaping of the garden, the paving, walls, fences, and man-made structures, it's soft form will prevail. It is a symbol of survival, of resilience.
