The Scottish Pine marten is a beautiful animal, hunted for its fur up until 1988 when it became protected. In Spring they shed their thick fur leaving behind a sleeker new chocolatey brown coat. This little fellow visited us every evening for a chat during a recent holiday in Scotland.
