Beneath the light-hearted title,  Ewe Called reflects the gentle relationship between shepherd and sheep - a timeless symbol of being known, cared for and called by name.  I was drawn to the warmth in this ewe's expression and the quiet dignity she possesses.  Through light, colour and careful observation, I hoped to celebrate the beauty and individuality found in one of the humblest creatures.
