The cone fell from a tree in 2020 at Bunya Pine Park, with the mould created in February that year. Few pre-assessor slip cast works are made from it, this being first with gold lustre.This smaller cone then Golden Bunya Cone Third Edition in comparison, and represents a more juvenile stage of growth, captured much earlier in its development.
