"Twisted Twins" explores the concept of nature imitating itself as the piece features a timber base that echoes the contours of a rocky hillside, with two bronze-colored wire trees perched at its peak. The base was sourced from a naturally decayed log, where time and the elements have eroded the softer wood, leaving behind only the harder grain. Human intervention was kept to a minimum to preserve the raw, organic beauty and to display nature's artistry.
