Seamlessly blending a reclaimed picture frame with a natural timber branch, “Avenoir” plays with the idea of mixing processed timber with its rugged wood form. Following the gold feature line around, it is as if the frame is longing to return to its original state as the gold gently blends and disappears into the unrefined timber which reaches down to the ground below.
