Rose Van Oyen

  • Artist’s Statement

Ceramics are the focus of Rose's practice, and while she enjoys creating quirky and whimsical pieces related to her love of Alice in Wonderland, her other concerns revolve around the Australian landscape. Rose portrays the beauty of our natural Australian flora through mark making on clay vessels integrated with the ever shifting sculptural expressions of the landscape of our coastal environment. Rose is currently working towards her next exhibition. Her work can be viewed under AbbieRose Collections on Instagram and Facebook. Rose's work is currently on display at Red Hill Gallery in Brisbane. Her work can also be viewed at Tiny Tree Gallery (Cleveland) and at the Woodford Community Art Group Gallery.

  • Biography

Rose Van Oyen is a multidisciplinary visual artist living and working in the Moreton Bay region of Queensland.

  • Influences
