  • Artist’s Statement

I find the creaminess and viscosity of oils captures the bright and true colour of the composition and makes an easy mark on the paper to show detail. I have attended 3 x McGregor art schools where I have learnt preparation of works and new techniques.

Light and the expression captured in the works of the early Australian Impressionists and Tonalists, are my muses as I strive to find my own style .

  • Biography

Born in Wynnum, Queensland, surrounded by the impressionist works of my Dutch mother, my school years were spent gazing out at the greens and azures  of the Moreton Bay, starting a lifelong hunt to capture colour and light. .
