Artist’s Statement
Presently, my studio is my apple iMac. It’s where I play with Adobe Illustrator to create images that could well translate into paintings or prints at a later stage.
While the images are forming, I play with shapes and colour combinations and take cues from the visible world (bird/cup/stitches/curtains/sky etc.) to inform the context for the image. Sometimes the most subtle shift in the position of a form/shape or colour can change the whole mood and relationship of all its parts. When a visual rightness emerges I press SAVE.Biography
