  • Artist’s Statement

    I am a painter that is inspired by the shapes and colours of the natural world of the things often missed. Paul Gauguin said “ I shut my eyes in order to see”. That’s me! 

  • Biography

    Jo is an emerging artist who looks for the patterns and shapes found in the natural environment for her inspiration. She has studied Biology and Chemistry, and these studies of structure and form of nature and the environment have given her an intense appreciation of the universe. She has a unique style of intertwining large and small things together. She is a recent finalist for the National Art Competition for “Gallipoli Art Award.” and overall winner of the Manly Art Show .
