Biography

Cate Day is an expressionist painter and ceramicist based in Maleny Sunshine Coast hinterland.. Cates Oil paintings are inspired by the environment immediately in front of her, vibrant in colour and expressive texture. Finger marks and brush marks are never completely tidied away.
Since becoming a professional artist Cate's work has been exhibited in several Sunshine Coast group exhibitions.
