Artist’s Statement
I enjoy painting with oils as they give me the chance to create the textures & colours that inspire me.
Biography
I have lived in Toowoomba for many yrs.I have had very little art training but in retirement decided to take up art which has become one of my keen interests along with gardening. Tha Toowoomba climate provides for being a creative gardener& this is where most of my inspiration comes from for my art, still life with flowers seen growing in my own garden. I paint mostly with oils but love to try other mediums as well like water colour & pen & ink.
Influences
I’m ofter influenced by nature, particularly gardens ,ocean seascapes, still life . I am also very influenced by colour schemes & combinations .
