I'm a contemporary artist with a love for capturing the details of life in paint and colour. Moving happily between watercolour and acrylics, I sketch and paint almost daily for my business, Shiny Happy Art, offering over 50 online classes and workshops.

A proud Downlander, I am a past student, past staff member and current parent. I have participated in the Downlands Art Exhibition most years since it began and 'painting for Downlands' has always been part of my art practice.

I have loved the colour and form of Matisse and Ken Done since my days as a Downlands student. These days I'm a huge fan of Manny Farber, Wayne Thiebaud, Margaret Olley and Brett Whiteley.
