Petra Cross
Artist Statement
My photography captures the intricate beauty of flowers to evoke stillness, serenity, and reflection. Informed by fine art traditions and inspired the Baroque aesthetic, I create detailed floral studies that encourage pause and presence. Returning to art in 2021 after a challenging time, I found healing through the camera—seeking calm in nature’s smallest details. Each composition is designed to inspire moments of peace, inviting the viewer to slow down and appreciate the often-overlooked elegance in the world around them.
