Phil’s work often reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world, exploring not only the visual beauty of a scene but also the feeling and experience of being immersed within it. Biography
Phil works primarily in oils and acrylics, creating atmospheric works that balance technical precision with a strong emotional presence. Through careful layering and impasto techniques, he builds rich surfaces that invite closer inspection, allowing texture to become an integral part of the viewing experience.
