Tribal name Warnambi Kardhalta. Father Warnambi Dundiway Charlie Boyle has been associated with this exhibition since its inception. He is an established and recognised painter, printmaker and sculptor, known for both his figurative and abstract work. Coming from Scotland, where he was both student and lecturer at the world-famous Glasgow School of Art, his teaching career continued as a senior lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland as did his professional practice. He is now a director of Toowoomba Art Society, where he currently runs a weekly class. He continues to exhibit within Australia and internationally.

Charlie Boyle has won more than 43 awards and prizes throughout the UK, Europe and Australia, including the Glasgow Institute of Fine Art Award, Welsh Arts Council Sculpture Award, Royal Scottish Academy Award, Edinburgh Open Award, De Sanjon Award (Paris), Lunenberg Open Award (Holland), Gold Coast Painting Prize and has received support from the Australian Visual Arts Board.
Currently exhibiting with Panter and Hall, London. Charlie has had more than 63 solo exhibitions throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland, Europe, USA and Australia. His works are represented in many private and public collections throughout the world.
