I began my art journey in 2012 when I commenced U3A classes under the expert tuition of Cecelia Krieg. Since then, my preferred medium is watercolour, which is quite a challenge in itself. I have participated in various artists' workshops { Robert Lovett, Cees Sliedrich, Roslyn Hartwig etc} and in 2016 was the recipient of a scholarship to the McGregor Winter School where I chose Urban Sketching…

I have participated in various artists' workshops { Robert Lovett, Cees Sliedrich, Roslyn Hartwig etc} and in 2016 was the recipient of a scholarship to the McGregor Winter School where I chose Urban Sketching with Robyn Bauer. I have entered local art shows and exhibitions and have won numerous prizes and sold my paintings. Seascapes and streetscapes are among my favourite things to paint, although there are so many beautiful things in this world, I will paint whatever takes my fancy. Cheryl Fowler
