Emily’s work preserves delicate moments that celebrate the natural world and life’s quieter joys. Biography
Emily Roser is a still life artist based in the bayside suburb of Williamstown, Naarm (Melbourne). Growing up in rural Queensland, she developed an early appreciation for nature, simple pleasures, and the stories held in everyday objects. Her detailed oil and acrylic works capture the quiet beauty of Australian native flowers, vintage pieces, and items imbued with personal meaning. Emily joins Downlands under the collection of Aspire Gallery (Brisbane, Qld).
Influences
Emily is inspired by her rural Queensland upbringing, Australian native flora, and the sentimental power of everyday objects. Her practice explores how vintage and timeworn pieces can evoke memory, mark the passage of time, and reveal the lives of the people who owned them. By combining precision, pattern, and gentle storytelling, Emily creates works that feel personal yet universally resonant.
