Andy McKie is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist who focused on traditional and contemporary printmaking practices as part of their Honours research. McKie’s works are driven by process and speak to their never-ending admiration for learning new skills and the ‘play’ that takes place in the process of making art. Central to this focus is the act of placing trust in the outcome, by engaging wholly with the experimental aspects of the studio process. Expanding on their individual practice, McKie also focuses on working with fellow artists and draws inspiration from their processes and unique perspectives.

One notable influence is one of my Lecturers at UniSQ- Associate Professor Rhi Johnson in her linoprinting style and ar…
