Growing up on a farm surrounded by never-ending paddocks, towering gums, open skies, and an abundance of animals gave me a deep appreciation for nature and a slower pace of life. That creative passion has followed me through life in rural New South Wales, Switzerland, Gladstone, Brisbane, and now Dalby. I’m especially drawn to the tactile, deliberate nature of brushstrokes and how they can capture memory, emotion, and a strong sense of place. Nature is at the core of my work, both as a subject and as a reminder to slow down and observe its stillness, detail, and quiet beauty.
