I grew up surrounded by avid woodworkers in my family and grew to appreciate the pieces they made and the skill it took to make them. Once I started creating my own works, I jumped into refining my process, trying to capture the colours, grains and features of the wood. I enjoy using sustainably sourced materials that make one contemplate the history of the material while appreciating the unique piece that I have turned them into - creating something new and exciting.
