Artist Statement

Water has always fascinated me. Marine themes feature prominently in my paintings, whether focusing on the transparency and patterns created by ripples in a simple stream or by the surface effect of wind texturing the waves in the ocean.

Biography

Micah Doron is an academically trained artist (Reading University, Manchester, North Adelaide School of Art: BA Honours Fine Art/Postgraduate, Bronze Casting Cert), having exhibited both in Australia and overseas, (e.g. Melbourne Festival, Edinburgh Festival, solo and group exhibitions) with traditional landscape and marinescape themes. Micah's paints with oil on archival materials including linen, poly cotton or canvas.
