I hope the figures in my artwork evoke a sense of beauty, solace, intrigue and mystery. Art is a continuing journey, one which is both exciting and challenging, ever changing and growing. My art is influenced by the familiar things around me, family, relationships, nature - the amazing beauty of God's creation. From childhood I loved to draw and paint, something I inherited from my mother. Moving from Sydney to Victoria, to Central Australia and finally to the Darling Downs there has been much to observe and absorb, contributing to my life journey and development as an artist. Furt…

From childhood I loved to draw and paint, something I inherited from my mother. Further influences: the impressionist movement, art books, lessons by Harry Hart at TAS and art friends.
