I enjoy experimenting with metals to see how far they can be extended to produce different effects for use in jewellery design. Recently a lot of my work has been experimenting more with colour, blackening some metals like copper to reduce the oxidation [discolouring] and changing dull grey titanium to bright blue and purple with flashes of gold. My tutor at lthis years Winter School took me out of my comfort zone using pebbles, sea and antique glass and cuttlefish casting for unusual pieces.
