Artist Statement

My art comes from a deep desire to want to explore my connection with nature and give it a voice on canvas, paper or whatever I have available to me. My method is instinctive. I am basically self taught relying mainly on youtube or buying tutorials from artists I really admire and want to learn from.

Biography

Growing up in an artistic household I had no inclination to be an artist. I started painting and drawing later in life. My main medium is acrylic paints but I also find artist pencils such as polychromos and Caran d'ache just as rewarding. My main subjects are animals but I enjoy having a go and discovering other subjects that may inspire me. For the past year I have mainly been focusing on painting and drawing horses.
