partner for the 2019 Downlands Art Exhibition.
What is Russell Mineral Equipment?
Founded in Toowoomba in 1985 by Dr John Russell, Russell Mineral Equipment
(RME) is a world renowned engineering design, technology and manufacturing
company, employing over 300 personnel in Toowoomba and a further 120 personnel
around the world. Regarded as a global employer of choice, RME’s specialised
mining equipment provides for safer working environments and faster maintenance
at 60 hard rock mine sites globally.
Dr John Russell and his wife Cherylyn are also passionate advocates of The
Arts, recognising the contribution that The Arts make to individual and
community wellbeing. RME’s growing corporate art collection includes works by
local and international artists and RME is grateful for the curatorial support
provided by Evan Hollis, amongst others.
