"Leaving school at 16 in 1979 I served a four year apprenticeship at the renowned car manufacturer Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. Primarily in the area of hand fabrication of all external body panels. Leaving the company in 1985 I stayed in this now rare trade going on to create bodywork for some of the world’s rarest, historically significant and valuable motor cars.
With an occupation that incorporates many artistic elements the step to expressing my own ideas through sculpture was a very natural one.
Migrating to Australia in 1995 I have continued to create mainly abstract forms using sheet metal as the primary medium with inspiration coming from many sources. The natural world, industrial design to a thought or emotion."
