Artist’s Statement

The Australian landscape is a constant source of inspiration in my work. “Western Sky (Meringandan West)”, was created with the intention of sharing with others the beauty of the landscape where I live. As the sun starts to set, the sky begins to transform into an array of colours and the clouds glow with light reflected from the sun. It truly is a spectacular sight, one that takes my breath away every time I see it. I have tried to capture the essence of this natural wonder in my artwork, so that others may experience it too.
