Peter utilises several layers of thin watercolour washes to build colour and vibrancy within his paintings. Concentrating on tones and capturing light within the painting is achieved through the build-up of these layers.
Utilising 100% transparent watercolours Peter build the paintings retaining the light within the painting through varying layers and techniques to highlight the contrasts between the light and dark within the subject.
