Peter Breen is a self-taught artist. He owns that his hunger for mark making is part of the human DNA and recognises the need for a daily drawing discipline to find his eye, gestural freedom and to establish skill confidence. Spirituality is for him embedded in both the making and viewing of art and hence elevates artmaking, viewing and collecting to an essential element in cultural evolution.
