Pat Hall
Artist’s Statement
Pat Hall floods her stretched paper canvases with colour before sealing them in a UV stabilised and waterproof coating. The images remain vibrant and accessible without being hidden behind glass; breathing new life into the medium.
Pat was born in Kent, England. After immigrating to Australia in 1991 she worked as an illustrator for many years and now paints and teaches from her home studio in Clear Mountain.
Pat is a passionate gardener and her paintings are inspired by the textures, colours and dazzling sunlight of Australian gardens and bushland.Biography
Pat won ‘Best Watercolour’ in The Rotary Art Spectacular 2016 and 2019. People’s Choice Award at The D’Arcy Doyle Art Awards in 2018 and 2021, as well as Highly Commended in 2019 and 2021.
