  • Artist’s Statement

Working primarily in pastels I enjoy creating realistic works that challenge me to create different textures on paper.  More recently I have been using various printing techniques to create backgrounds that encourage a more serendipitous approach to the subject which is how I created the naughty goat you see here.

  • Biography

I enjoyed drawing whilst growing up but my first real opportunity came when a tutor from the  flying arts ran a pastel workshop in Baralaba.
In the 15 years since then I have attended many workshops with professional artists, exhibited in joint exhibitions, completed commissions and sold works.
