    Artist Statement Maryika Welter
    “Being an Artist is a lifelong Apprenticeship”…
    As a mixed media artist I have an active arts practice spanning some thirty years. Life Drawing has been one of my many focuses throughout my career. It is a fundamental skill in drawing and an activity I often return to as a re grounding before venturing into a new or reworked concepts.
