Artist’s Statement
From my childhood I always loved drawing and performed well at school in the creative arts. I believe we all have gifts and talents in some area or another so it seemed logical to me to develop my skills and branch out into painting. Even though I have had many years away from painting with family and work commitments, I have recently retired and am again returning to what I enjoy and what I can share with others to hopefully enjoy also.

My love of nature dominates my work whether it be birdlife, wildlife, domestic animals or pets and landscapes. My aim is to bring my subject to life so that every day people can relate to my artwork.
