I paint my father's Japangardi's Dreaming - our special dreamings are about bush tomato, goanna, hopping mouse and wakiripirri - the Dogwood Tree.
Biography
Liddy Napanangka Walker's work is internationally recognised and highly sought after. An artist from the Warlukurlangu Art community of Yuendumu. (b1925 d2017). From 1985 she exhibited in numerous Group exhibitions in Australia and overseas. Her work is in major art museums in Australia, USA and Europe.
From the Mount Theo area west of Yuendumu ( a Walpiri community in the Tanami Desert).
She was deeply devoted to pastoral care and community care.
