Lee Wilkes is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based artist working with oil painting. Lee’s emotive landscapes blur time, space and memory. Ambiguous horizon lines blend boundaries between land, sea and sky; and his rugged scenes conjure impermanence and transformation via painted repetitions, reflections and abstraction.
