  • Artist’s Statement

Often incorporating a collage of ephemera and print-making techniques in an abstract/semi abstract style, I explore aspects of landscape/mindscape where symbol might suggest a reality beyond the common-place. I allow texture to develop, evolve and shape the journey of a painting to its completion. Each painting is a process of discovery, the inter-weaving of colour and form, always eluding my original intention.

  • Biography

Since acquiring a Bachelor's degree in visual art in 2005, I have sold work locally, interstate and internationally. I have participated in various group and joint exhibitions, (including the Grammar Art Show and the Downlands Art Exhibition since 2015). Currently I have a solo exhibition of alternating work at ‘The Grand Old Crow’ hotel in Crow’s Nest. I am also working toward producing a body of work with a view to exhibiting solo in 2024. I continue to work on private commissions.
