Artist’s Statement
My paintings are based around observations of my every-day as well as human interaction. I turn common things into beautiful paintings based on growth, gardens, insects, weeds & built environments to form real and imagined narratives. Focus is on perspectives & juxtapositions of subjects often overlooked or under-appreciated such as insects and small misplaced plants & roots - especially snails, also integrating a unique fractal pattern I've developed
