Jedda Purvis Kngwarreye is an Anmatyerre woman from Boundary Bore in the Utopia
Homelands, Central Australia. She is an artist (born in 1970) who enjoys using bold
and bright colours when depicting her plant totem, the Bush Yam. Jedda is the daughter of

Yam Dreamings but in a very different style to his daughters.
Jedda is from a family of artists, her sisters Judy and Jennifer also paint and her aunt is

    further exposure nationally and overseas.
