Jayne Hodge
Artist’s Statement
I work mainly with acrylics on canvas which suits my style. I work from an idea in my mind for a considerable time before I put the thought to canvas. I don't keep journals, but store ideas mentally. I don't begin to paint until I've exhausted this idea, then I'm ready to start. Thoughts which are bounced about in my head for up to 2 years will be a completed work in about an hour
