Artist’s Statement
Heather found her natural ability whilst working with bark. Her many trips throughout Australia, especially the east coast has enabled her to collect the different colours of Bark and subjects for her art.
Biography
Heather Jones has found a place to live and work in one of Queensland's most beautiful settings. Nestled by a lake her home sits on the edge of these serene surroundings and her studio is set in beautiful gardens, where inspiration, which is portrayed in her artwork, abounds.
Awards
Heather is an award winning artist and has numerous awards for her Bark Art and is qulified to judge in art shows.
