Artist’s Statement

Raised in the country, I have always felt grounded in landscapes. Beauty.
Freedom. Independence. Space. I am inspired by the vast landscapes within
which we build our lives. I feel at peace when I have space to roam. I appreciate
the impact spaces have on our lives and our motivation. My favourite time to take photographs is at first light, when the day's beauty brings a feeling of peace and hope for the day ahead. I hope that my photographs evoke a sense of calmness and bring some of the peace of the outdoors inside.
