Artist’s Statement
Elizabeth started her art story in Gosford in the 1970's. Many years later, she restarted in 2010 with Geoff Ball at Murphy's Creek Art Studio and has gone on to create wild, floral creations and striking landscapes. Elizabeth is known for her effervescent personality and that shows through in her work with vibrant colours. Her passion for painting is contagious and she is enthusiastic and inclusive sharing her success.
Biography
Elizabeth has managed a few artistic phases in between time raising a family and business ventures. She rediscovered her artistic home at Murphy's Creek Art Centre where she connected with Geoff Ball and the other 'Creekers'. The past decade she has dedicated to exploring different to media, but pastels and acrylics are her favourites.
Music and a glass of wine are often the inspiration that lead to wild floral creations and striking landscapes. Elizabeth is known for her effervescent personality and that shows through in her work with vibrant colours. Her passion for painting is contagious and she is enthusiastic and inclusive in sharing her success.
Elizabeth has travelled locally and overseas to expand her skills, learning from others equally passionate about pastels.Influences
