Collaboration De Maine and Tsutsui

Collaboration De Maine and Tsutsui

  • Artist’s Statement

Although we are both individual artists we complement each other beautifully with our particular skills.

  • Biography

Johanna De Maine and Tatsuya Tsutsui are partners both in life and in art.

They both work individually as well as collaborate. In their collaborative works, Tatsuya throws the porcelain pieces and Johanna then works on the glazed pieces using overglaze techniques.

These collaborative pieces are still viewed as major exhibition pieces.
