  • Artist’s Statement

“Wildlife has a freedom in its own environment and the elegance, balance and
symmetry of movement constantly intrigues me. It is this delicate balance I strive to capture in my work. Some ideas evolve quickly, others take years to become realized. Single ideas are plentiful, however it is not the single idea in isolation, I think my work is more evolution. Once a
foundation is established the creative challenge is to explore it to its full potential".

  • Biography

Born in Oz 1959, I grew up in a time where there was still bushland to roam freely through, even though I lived near the city. As a child I would head off and explore the native bushland that surrounded our home and even our school. Today, I am married with children, but still enjoy the same pleasures of watching native wildlife.
I have always had an artistic bent and have been a full time sculptor since 1987, firstly working for someone else, then in 1991 I created my own studio and small foundry.
