    I am a modern realist painter working in oil, acrylic and watercolour. Everyday objects in our lives and the natural world motivate my practise both plein air and in studio. I travel as much as possible so subject matter constantly challenges and dictates the avenue my work follows.

    I read widely so issues that are in the political arena stir me into action as in 'Grommet' a child that presents as neither male nor female. Does it matter at that age?
